Technology
Our manufacturing technology is
based on more than 21 years experience in the
industrial design and manufacturing industry. We have been working
with powered parachutes since 1996.
At PPCruiser®,
we believe that to build the very best products, you
must first start with the best materials. We
therefore use 4130 cromemoly steel in our
construction process. By coupling our exceptional
design with an
all weld
process, our airframes are many
times stronger than bolted models and they also
eliminate many of the common problems associated
with other powered parachutes including “frame warp”.
Frame warp is a byproduct of stress to the airframe
and is especially prevalent in turns. This causes a
change in the relationship between the thrust line
and the appendage and subsequently creates
one of the biggest problems
in the powered parachute industry.
Value
PPCruiser®
not only builds a superior airframe, our standard
equipment packages include features that most other
companies charge extra for. We do not scale our models down to
hit a low entry price point and then individually
upgrade the customers right back to a much higher
price during the selection process. A
few of the more prevalent standard features of our
base product packages are:
